3 Pro Tips for Spirit Guide Convos
“Just give me the message already!” A phrase I, and so many others like me (and maybe like you) have yelled at the Universe, Spirit Guides and Source.
You’re seeing signs. You’re noticing angel numbers. You’re getting an ear ringing. But what does it all mean.
Or in other words… give me words. Something my brain can comprehend. Because communicating in any other form isn’t something we’re used to or practiced at.
Here are 3 important things to know about Source and Spirit Guides when it comes to communicating with us here on Earth:
Some Spirit Guides don’t use words. Or more accurately, aren’t limited by words. Some may even really not want to use words because they find them so much more limiting that say… a triangle symbol, or a red color, or an animal of deer. Those are forms of communication that hold many dynamic layers of meaning within them. Pro tip: Get a book or two about symbolism to help you decode the non-worded messages. It takes energy for Spirit Guides to contact you. They expend less energy when they’re able to use resources already available to you in your immediate reality. For example: a friend says something out of the blue, or you see a social media reel, or the numbers of your clock always show you 3:33. Pro tip: Practice the 3 A's of “acknowledge, accept and awareness” by recording, not second guessing yourself, and paying attention to your surroundings.
They really really want us to get their messages. They have to poke through the veils that separate realities or dimensions where they can. The liminal space of dreams, or right as you’re falling asleep, or during meditation, provides just such an opportunity. Pro tip: Give your guides space to connect in the liminal, and perhaps even give them permission to come to you in your dreams.
You can learn how to Channel. Channeling means opening up a direct flow between you and Source, or you and a Spirit Guide, that allows you to connect and communicate more effectively. This requires some training and safe guards, but with the right information, you can do this safely and successfully.
